Cardinal Catahoulas

The Cardinal Ranch is a family operated working horse ranch in the Canadian Rockies, and we love our dogs!  We came upon the Catahoula breed quite by accident as they are quite rare in these parts.

The Catahoulas were outstanding family and ranch dogs with qualities and character that we found to be unique.  This instigated quite a bit of research about the breed and inspired us to get into raising our own here on the ranch.

They have exceeded our expectations for predator control either on the ranch, or while out on the trail.  They are savvy around our livestock and other animals.  They are exceeding loyal while still being somewhat independent thinkers. 

 

We simply adore them and look forward to sharing this love with others.
